LMC Volunteers

Lancaster & Morecambe College Volunteering aims to encourage, support and recognise students who give up their spare time for the benefit of others.

You can log your volunteer hours and achieve a Lancaster & Morecambe Volunteer Award for all your hardwork.

Volunteering can help you develop new skills, meet new poeple, gain valuable experience and enhance your CV. It's also fun!

Awards Certificates

What counts?

Volunteer can gain different awards based on the number of logged and accredited volunteer hours they have completed.

There are four types of awards you can achieve:

100 hours or more

50 - 99 hours

25 - 49 hours

less than 25 hours

We consider volunteering to be any kind of contribution you make to the college and/or community in your spare time.

Any volunteering should be carefully logged and signed off by your main point of contact within the organisation.

Volunteer roles within LMCSU such as Class Rep, Student Officer and Student Governor can all count towards your award.
